Understanding The Role Of Ancestors In Ìgbò Cosmology. In Odinana Ìgbò, Ndị Ịchie refers to the ancestors, who are believed to continue to exist in the spiritual realm after death. The Ìgbò people believe that the ancestors play an important role in their lives and in the community as a whole. Different  people from different places had settled in the area in pursuit of safety. Mgbidi is an ancient kingdom located in Awgu local government, Enugu State Nigeria. The Town is surrounded by Mmaku at North East (NE), Awgu at South and South West , Nkwe and Ezere at North Pole and Newenta at North West (NW).
